A type of feldspar with a shimmer known as adularescence.
Found in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Madagascar, India and the US in various colours with varying degrees of rarity. It's links to the moon makes this a feminine stone, connecting with female cycles and gentle goddess energy. Moonstone is a stone of empathy, intuition, emotional balance and inner harmony. It also aids with new beginnings and renewal through life’s transitions. Moonstone brings a calming energy encouraging us to flow with the natural cycles and it is also useful for spiritual development and mediumship.
